The most common interview questions
I fielded the most common interview questions across a variety of hiring managers and recruiters to compile a brief yet comprehensively robust list of key questions that any job interviewee should contemplate.
Additionally, there are a few prompts for you to consider crafting professional anecdotes for that you may not get direct questions for, but you can sprinkle those extra details in to strengthen your overall responses.
All together, there are 13 questions / prompts in the Interview Q&A Planner — each equipped with a description of the intent behind the question, tips on answering it, and an example response to get started. It essentially expands off of this article, so you can take a peak at the content here.
❓ Question - Common questions that are likely to come up as you interview
💡 Prompt - Meant to help you generate word tracks that you can incorporate into your answers and be more holistically ready
Adding a new question
You’re more than welcome to add your own questions to this Interview Q&A Planner — especially those that are more specific to your field. When doing so, a brand new, blank page will give you the option to select a blank template if the new question doesn’t fit any of the templates available.

ORGANIZING AND FILTERING RESPONSES
Tag or link responses to a specific role or interview
Whether you’re using the standalone Interview Q&A Planner or the one built into the Job Hunt Organizer, you can organize your planned responses to make it easier to filter and prep for before and during an interview.
The standalone Interview Q&A Planner
For each role or interview, create a new tag using the Role - Company property.
The default tag is “General Response” so you can prep a generic response.
The Job Hunt Organizer’s Interview Q&A Planner
Using the Interviews relation property, you can link to existing Interview pages from the Interviews database (or create a new one).
The Interviews page defaults to automatically filtering for your prepped responses assigned to that specific interview, so all of your pre and during interviewing prep is all in one place.
The Job Posting property will also automatically populate based on the Interviews database information. More automation. Like magic! ✨
Filter to focus on your upcoming interview
The Upcoming Interview Responses view on the Interview Q&A Planner page can filter responses based on which Role - Company they’re tagged with or the Interview page they’re linked to. You can use this view if you’re the type of person who likes to keep notes up on their screen during an interview for reference.
Try bolding, underlining, or highlighting the main points or reminder word tracks you’ve prepped to make it easier to cue yourself!
